Stillness Practices
Who Am I?
Cognitive / Thought-Based
An inquiry practice that uses a single, open-ended philosophical question to create a sudden, quiet gap in your conscious thoughts. It acts as an instant pattern-interrupter for looping logic.

Instructions
Sit completely still: Drop all physical actions and settle into an upright, dignified seat.
Drop your chin: Let your eyes close and let your face soften.
Ask the inner question: Whisper the question inside your mind: 'Who is the one thinking these thoughts right now?'
Do not look for an answer: Do not try to answer the question with words or logic; simply look into the empty space right after the question ends.
Rest in the blank gap: Hold your focus steady inside that quiet, wordless gap for as long as it lasts.
Re-ask if thoughts return: If thoughts restart, simply drop the question back into your mind to clear the screen again.
