Stillness Practices
Physiological Sigh
Breath-Focused
The fastest biological mechanism to immediately reduce systemic stress and lower your heart rate in real time. It uses a double-inhale pattern to instantly re-inflate the tiny air sacs in your lungs.

Instructions
Pause your activity: Sit or stand perfectly still wherever you are.
Take a deep inhale: Breathe in sharply through your nose until your lungs are almost full.
Sniff a bit more: Take a second, quick micro-inhale right on top of the first one to max out your lungs.
Sigh it out: Release a long, slow, sigh through your open mouth.
Pause and feel: Sit completely still for a moment, noticing the immediate drop in your chest tension.
Repeat once: Perform the double-inhale and long sigh just one more time.
