MB Is On the Move..!

Ever tried teaching a room full of people how to "slow down and breathe" while your own life is packed tight into cardboard moving boxes? Life has a wonderfully funny way of keeping us on our toes.

Over the past two weeks, things have been moving at lightning speed on multiple fronts! Here is a little glimpse behind the scenes at Meditation Butterfly.

Workshops, Breathwork, and Journaling

First, community connection has been front and center. Esther Wyss-Flamm and I had the absolute joy of welcoming over a dozen participants to the Unitarian Society of Germantown for our "Slow Down and Breathe" workshop. Together, we explored how gentle movement, breath practices, and stillness can anchor us through a hectic season.

Following that, I hosted a warm and intimate "Stress Management Journaling" workshop with the Community of St. James. Both gatherings highlighted a vital truth: journaling is so much more than reflection in hindsight. When used intentionally, it becomes a powerful ritual to combat daily stress and spark deep self-awareness.

The Nomadic Life in Motion

Meanwhile, on the personal front, my husband and I made a major move from the neighborhood of Roxborough to our next temporary home here in Philadelphia.

If you have ever lived a nomadic lifestyle, you know the drill: the endless planning, packing, cleaning, and hauling. Honestly? It was a genuine challenge to maintain my daily habits of Stillness, Reflection, and Self-Care amidst the chaos.

But I stuck to it—and it taught me a valuable lesson in applying the MB Method to everyday transitions:

Awareness : Catching the exact moments when physical fatigue threatened to turn into total overwhelm.

Acceptance : Meeting disruptions with neutrality, accepting that boxes and unorganized mess are just temporary parts of the journey.

Growth : Protecting my non-negotiable micro-routines to prove that inner peace can travel anywhere.

Now, after a whirlwind fortnight of teaching, packing, and moving, it is officially time for some well-deserved rest..!

Wishing you Peace, Grace and Love,

...MB....

P.S...  A Reflection for Your Week

As you move through your own week, take a moment to pause and consider:

What transition or unexpected shift is happening in my life right now..?

and

What one small habit can I protect to keep my inner peace intact..?
